There’s a new world coming, a mysterious island with abandoned orphanage and a collection of strange photos, and a bunch of peculiar children.

Ramsom Rigg has mesmerized people through his words. Now, let the mystery and adventure begin in motion picture. You read it right! Riggs’ best-selling novel Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children has reached Hollywood. With the visions of famous director Tim Burton and screenplay of Jane Goldman, 20th Century Fox will give you a world that will alter reality and time. This spine-tingling fantasy world will surely delight adults, teens and anyone who wishes for an adventure in the shadows.

Rumors of the movie circulated a year before the teaser was released. These rumors have enticed bookworms to wait for the teaser to be released. But what had really caught the attention of movie-fanatics was the fact that Burton will be directing the movie.

Early last year, 20th Century Fox released the movie teasers of Miss Peregrine’s. And as what every film of Burton has, expect a turn to a dark, gothic and quirky fantasy world. The teaser actually shows Burton’s signature already! We could see another movie masterpiece from him. Watch the teaser below.

After the murder of his beloved grandfather, 16-year-old Jacob Portman sets a journey to a remote island off the coast of Wales where he discovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Jake will then learn the secrets of the place and get to know the residents and their unusual abilities. But both mystery and danger deepens as he gets more and more involved with the peculiars.

Catch Jake (Asa Butterfield), Miss Peregrine (Eva Green), and the children in a whole new world. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will be on theaters on September 30. Let us all #StayPeculiar.
