Nissan turn over

Manila, Philippines – Nissan Philippines Inc (NPI), through its dealer Nissan North Edsa (NNE), recently delivered 36 brand new units of its Nissan NV350 Urvan cargo van to the city government of Valenzuela.  The Nissan NV350 Urvan cargo model, with its high roof and long wheelbase, was configured into an ambulance for the Valenzuela constituents.

Leading the transfer of the ambulances were, from left: NNE Group Retail Manager Randolf Libao; NNE Group Retail Manager Jefron Albao; NNE Group Retail Manager Jett F. Maliwat; NNE Marketing Professional Mac Leo Glean; NNE Accredited Broker Eric Hernandez; NNE General Sales Manager Jeremy Ballesteros; NNE Assistant General Manager Ato Mendoza; NPI Fleet Manager for Sales Raymond Mariano; and NPI General Manager for Sales Rollie Navarro. Receiving the ambulance units on behalf of the city mayor Rex Gatchalian were the Valenzuela mayor’s Chief of Staff Ulysses C. Aguilar; Valenzuela City Head of Procurement Prescy Pacardo; Valenzuela City Head of Property and Supply Management Division Jaime E. Santiago; and Valenzuela City Head of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office Dr. Arnaldo F. Antonio.

The ambulance units are part of the health service component of Mayor Gatchalian’s public service platform, where the focus is on addressing the essential needs of his constituents.  The Nissan NV350 Urvan’s high roof, larger proportions of 5090mm x 1695mm x 2285mm, and a stretched wheelbase of 2940mm affords more space, creating a bigger load area that can accommodate emergency patients, a medical team, as well as first aid equipment.  Complementing this is the YD25 DDTi 2.5-liter common rail turbo diesel similarly found in the Nissan Navara pickup, giving the Nissan NV350 Urvan all the power needed to transport up to 1.5 tons worth of passengers and equipment.
