Oppo Find 7 first captured our notice with leaks and rumors about a 50MP camera. Well, the Find 7 really can take 50MP photos! but it’s a software trick. Actually, the Find 7 offers a 13MP shooter with the latest Sony EXMOR IMX 214 sensor. The 50MP snap is the ‘Super Zoom’ mode, which uses Oppo’s latest image signal processor along with Pure Image 2.0. Super Zoom works by taking ten photos with just the press of a button and then automatically picks and combines four best shots into a high quality 50MP image. The camera also features 4K video recording at 30 fps, 32 second low light photography, slow-motion video at up to 100 fps, HDR-capable GIF creation and dual-LED flash. Find 7 uses voltage opened loop and multi-step constant current charging (VOOC) technology that according to Oppo, will charge the battery from zero to 75% in just 30 minutes. The rapid charging will not create any potential thermal issues, since the Find 7 has five layers of heat protective coatings in addition to the aluminum-titanium alloy frame.
The Find 7 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean based custom firmware called ColorOS 1.2. It comes with features familiar to Oppo N1 users, including different themes, home screen weather animation and gesture shortcuts.
