Have you ever been to a foreign country and encountered so much difficulty in conversing with locals? Worry no more, a new wearable technology could soon make conversing with people from other cultures an ordinary affair.

Waverly Labs has invented the Pilot earbuds, an earpiece that is shaped similarly to an earbud, but comes without wires. This ingenious device sits in your ear, works even without an internet connection, and works well for people who frequently travel overseas.

This device translates different languages effortlessly.

Expected to be launched at the end of next week, the Pilot earbud comes in English, Spanish, French and Italian.

More details will be released by Waverly Labs on its website by May 25, 2016.

The price of the Pilot earbuds will be around US$ 250 to 300.

Each pack contains two earbuds. Each earbud is intended to be used by two people, as each earbud works with the other paired earbud.  If there is only one earbud available, the downloadable Pilot app can function as the other pair.

I am looking forward to have a set soon.
