Ruby Chen, one of Starbucks customers was the center of attraction yesterday because o fan alleged shouting of an employee who identified herself to be the manager.


According to Chen, she ordered for a Frappuccino at a store on Broadway Elmhurst, Queen and she was pulling up on a Starbucks app to pay, but she didn’t hear it when the employee called her name for the order and that’s when the said Starbucks employee started to shout at her and accused her of stealing a cookie straw.


In the same report the spokesperson for Starbucks clarified that they fired the employee after the incident. “This customer experience is not reflective of the service our partners provide to customers every day. Our leadership team is reaching out to the customer to apologize and make this right.” said by the Starbucks spokesperson on their released statement.


Chen also confirmed that the Starbucks management got in touch with her through Facebook and the district manager apologized and promised her that “the leadership team would do everything to prevent terrible customer service of this kind from happening ever again”. She was also offered s $100 gift certificate and was guaranteed that Starbucks was taking her complaint seriously.
