Do you Rage against injustice, Want the power to save the universe, know Fear can be strong, but have the Will to overcome it, Hope for the best for everyone, Understand others’ plight, and Love your fellow beings? Well then, welcome to the White Lantern Corps, oh ye master of all the other lights on the emotional spectrum. Life itself is in your hands.

As announced in January, Wizkids is introducing DC HeroClix: War of Light, a six-month storyline Organized Play program starting in June 2014. See Wizkids site for more on the OP program!

The White Lantern Corps is another, like the Orange Lanterns, that typically only has one actual member at any given time (though there have been periods with multiple white rings – which have the ability to overcome death itself!). Currently in the comics, that one member is Kyle Rayner, who recently used the power of the White Light to recharge the universe itself – seemingly sacrificing most of the entities (and as far as the general population is concerned – including all the Green Lantern Corps, sacrificing himself) in the process.

The White Light’s restorative properties are that strong. Not only can it restore life to an individual, but it can restore the life of the universe itself – at least for a time. Of course, wielders of a White Power Ring have to, by definition, be able to use every other light along the spectrum, and through their white ring can pull up any of the other colors – and all their specialty powers along with them. We’ll show you Kyle’s individual card on Friday, and that will explain better just how he can use every color of light. The other members included in this set include some awfully big surprises. Swamp Thing, the Weaponer, and is that Krona? Sure looks like it. Check out the group shot, lantern, and power ring here, and we’ll have a deeper look at the individuals as usual on Friday. And when we’re done with life this week, you know what that leaves next Wednesday…
