MINE! It’s time to take a look at the Orange Lanterns of Avarice, perhaps better known as Greed. Yes, I considered not showing you these as a much-too-in-joke, but WizKids wouldn’t go for it.
As announced in January, Wizkids is introducing DC HeroClix: War of Light, a six-month storyline Organized Play program starting in June 2014. See Wizkids site for more on the OP program.HeroClix: War of Light Orange Lantern Corps
Here’s the one ring that just about anyone in the universe could wield – after all, we all get a little greedy sometimes, don’t we? The orange light of avarice is unique in that it is (usually) wielded by only one being. For quite some time, that being has been Larfleeze, who of course is pictured above.
Rather than share the power, Larfleeze makes constructs that can actually act somewhat independently – all modeled after other Orange Lanterns. It’s pretty twisted, let’s be honest.
Joining Larfleeze to represent Avarice in the pack is Sayd, the Guardian of the Universe who he basically “won” into his service. Hal Jordan is in there as an Orange, and the orange entity, Ophidian also gets his own double-sized figure.
Check out the power battery to the right, and the ring below, and stay tuned as always to Friday, when we’ll reveal more information about the individual Orange Lanterns.HeroClix: War of Light Orange Lantern Corps
