Pioneer Adhesives Foundation, Inc. bagged a Silver Award for the REEF FIX Coral Restoration Program at the 54th Anvil Awards held January 30, 2019 at Marriot Hotel.
The REEF FIX Coral Restoration Program is a unique CSR program that took a lot of time, resources and effort on the part of Pioneer Adhesives Foundation, Inc. (PAFI) and its employees since it encompasses the usual eco-friendly activities other companies normally engage in. It manages to effectively marry the use of its breakthrough products and help address one of the more pressing ecological challenges of the planet: coral bleaching and its effects on the environment and the human population.
The call to act and save the environment is a strong motivation behind Pioneer Foundation’s REEF FIX program. With the efforts of the various stakeholders involved, and the merging of Pioneer products with the latest technology on coral rehabilitation and transplantation, the country’s marine resources and fisherfolk can now stand a fighting chance to survive and thrive.
Anvil Awards is annually presented by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) to recognize country’s outstanding public relations programs, tools, and practitioners.
